This 1943 Epiphone Triumph is a war era, poplar top version. It is super punchy and loud, as I have typically found the poplar top guitars to be. It shows some fret wear, but still plays very well and will not need a refret for some time. There is a single, glued top crack that extends from the upper end of the bass side f-hole, downward. The all original finish shows typical checking for its age. The tuners, pickguard, and tailpiece appear original. The bridge appears to be a replacement. The original hardshell case is in very good condition with all latches and hinges functioning normally.
