This guitar personally belonged to me for a period, and I have gigged with it as well.  I can personally vouch for its excellent playability and tone, based on hours of play time.

There is some honest playwear, but the finish is in very good condition.  The flame maple used on this guitar is very striking for a laminate archtop of the era. It would be very hard to find one with more highly figured woods.

The neck has a 1 3/4 inch nut width with a large C-shaped contour.  If you like a full neck, this guitar will deliver.  It was refretted at some point and there is a significant amount of life left in these frets and there are no divots.  The action is very low, especially for an archtop, with no buzzing.

The components are all original.  The original Kluson f-hold styled tailpiece long ago had a hinge break, but the parts were expertly brazed together into one piece, and is now extremely strong.  It will likely outlive the next owner of this guitar.

The original Geib hardshell case is included.
