This circa 1950 Epiphone Zephyr Deluxe Regent was modified at some point, replacing the NY Tone Spectrum pickups it originally had with P90s, and adding two additional control knobs.  It is now loaded with Lollar P90s which, as expected, sound amazing.  With the two additional control knobs, the guitar now has separate tone and volume controls for each pickup.
 
The guitar plays great and all notes ring out clearly with no buzzing.  The neck has a full, soft V-shaped carve, often found in post-war Epiphones.  Combined with the 1.74 inch nut width, the guitar is well suited to larger hands.
 
The original modified pickguard comes with the guitar, but no mounting hardware comes with it.
