This 1953 Gibson L-7C doesn't give away anything in acoustic tone or volume to a non-cutaway version, and is a great player.  The McCarty style pickup is a reproduction.   The pickup was made by Lollar, and I believe the pickguard was done by Pickguardian.  Jason Lollar did a great job with this pickup.  It sounds fantastic.

The guitar has a few scars from being a daily player, but nothing more than cosmeti. It also has a cleated top crack in the top extending from the bass side F-hole into the upper bout.  The neck angle is good and it plays well.  The back is crack free.

The bridge and tuners are original.  One of the tuners is bent, but all tuners work well.  The tailpiece is a reproduction.

The original hardshell case is included.
