Every Hoboken built Guild we've had has been a really great guitar, and this CA-100 is no exception.  This is a full on acoustic archtop with a carved spruce top and maple sides and back.  The cutaway allows easy access to higher frets and the smaller size is sure to be more comfortable for those that find a 17 inch archtop to be too large.

The guitar is a great player and rings out clearly over the entire neck.  The bridge has room for adjustment both up and down.  The top is solid with no signs of sinkage and the neck angle is great.  The frets are in very good condition with lots of life left in them, but do have some small divots in the "cowboy chord" area.  The finish shows a few scratches, as pictured, and there is a finish chip in the finish in the middle of the back of the neck. The finish has rubbed off and flaked off along the lower bout rim and along the back edge where shown.  The binding is stained in one area along the upper bout, but is in excellent condition with no cracking.  The parts all appear to be original.

This guitar is a little canon.  It has great clarity and volume.  I find it to be very well balanced and adept at both comping as well as melodic work.

A chipboard case is included.
