This is a fantastic player's Les Paul Custom showing the wear of a much loved, never abused instrument.  It has a wonderfully done original sunburst finish which starts very dark from the rim and gently moves toward the center with no abrupt edges.

The frets are original and show wear with some divots in the first three frets, but like most of these guitars with the low wide frets, it still plays beautifully with clear notes and no buzzing.  It has the original T-top neck pickup with the cover removed and the bridge pickup is the common swap to a Seymour Duncan JB (a la Adam Jones).  This pickup combination is a great balance for rock or metal in particular.

The tuners are original.  The bridge and tailpiece posts are original, but the bridge and tailpiece appear to have been changed for chrome versions of genuine Gibson parts, including an ABR-1 bridge.  The gold reflector knobs appear to be original.

A genuine 1970s Gibson Les Paul case which appears to be slightly later is included.
