This is a freshly set up, great playing Les Paul Custom. It has all original parts (except for replaced pickup covers in my opinion and the switch tip) and comes with the original Gibson Protector Case. The electronics appear all original with all original solder joints. The pots date to the first week of 1977. The natural, blonde finish has aged beautifully. There are very few scratches in the finish and those are shown in the pics. The pickup rings are both broken on the neck side, where the rings from this era often warped and stuck up from the body. I will include a new set of official Gibson pickup rings if the buyer would like and requests them.

The neck is three ply maple with a solid ebony fingerboard as Gibson was using in the late 70s/early 80s. In my opinion these are the best sounding of all of the Les Pauls. The neck on this one is straight as can be and the truss rod works perfectly. The action is low and fast. It's truly a great playing guitar.

A vintage correct set of gold pickup covers from a 1978 Les Paul can be included, if desired.
