This 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom is well played, but in all original condition.  The electronics are completely untouched and feature T-top humbuckers. All of the hardware is original right down to original frets.  The original three latch "chainsaw" Protector case is also included.

The frets have some small divot, particularly the first three.  The guitar still plays great though and the neck is beautifully straight, allowing for simply ridiculously low action with no buzzing.  The neck has the typical 60s slim taper C-shape and is smooth and fast, showing areas of worn through finish.  The T-tops sound very versatile doing great cleans, all the way through to high gain.

The finish is in overall very good condition with light playwear to the back.  Although there is very little evidence in normal lighting, a black light reveals that this guitar has had several stickers on it in the past.  There is also the outline of a large decal on the back which can be seen in tangential light.  The finish is worn through in some areas on the back of the neck.  The hardware show loss of much of the gold plating on the bridge, tailpiece, and pickup covers.  There is also some corrosion of the bridge, but nothing that affects playability.
