It's very rare to find a 43 year old guitar in this condition. Other than some very light scratches on the gold hardware and some scratches on the pickguard this guitar is basically in mint condition. I've never seen a Norlin era Les Paul this close to immaculate, and I've seen a lot of them. The finish is glossy and looks almost like new. All parts are original and the electronics are untouched. The is a real closet queen.
Don't let the condition fool you. After giving the guitar a fresh set up, it plays fantastically with super low action and all notes ringing clearly. The original T-top pickups sound simply fantastic. The neck has the usual 60s carve of the era and the typical low, wide frets. The frets look almost new. There's not much else to say about this guitar. It's ideal for the player/collector.
Weight - 9.6 pounds
Nut width - 1.69 inches
The guitar includes the original 2nd generation "chainsaw" protector case that is also in excellent condition with all latches and hinges in working order.
