This Masaki Sakurai classical guitar is his model No 15 which at the time was the designation for his top of the line model. This particular guitar has a cedar top with Indian rosewood back and sides. The guitar is in very good condition with a little string lash marks near the bridge and a couple of small top dents. This guitar has the quality workmanship and tone that Sakurai guitars are known for, making his guitars one of the truly great values on the classical market.
The tone features the warmth that cedar is known for along with the remarkable bass presence that is often heard in Sakurai's work. The guitar plays easily and sounds great.
