This 1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom is the rarest variation of the wine red.  Not only does it come with chrome hardware instead of gold, the hardware also includes the flip out winder tuners, diamond shaped "posi-lock" strap buttons, and the Ren Wall invented multi-point adjustable tune-o-matic bridge.
 
The playability is beautiful with low, fast action and no fret buzz.  The frets are the original low/wide version typical of the era and they have lots of life left in them.  The neck has the 60s C-shape carve typical of the era also.   The original Tim Shaw pickups have the great tone they are known for.
 
The guitar comes with its original hardshell case.
