This Les Paul comes in the sought after true Tobacco Burst finish, as you can see by the brown fade on the edges.  It also features three pieces of original hardware that can be hard to find, the flip out tuners (very valuable on their own, especially in gold), diamond shaped "posi-lock" strap buttons, and the multi-point adjustable bridge invented by Ren Wall.  The maple top is three pieces, typical of the era, and the neck is also three piece maple with a light flame in the center piece.
 
The neck is straight and I was able to set it up with super low action and no fret buzz.  The original low/wide frets show light wear with some very small divots in the first three frets, but they have lots of life left in them.  The playability is guaranteed to be superb.  The neck has the typical '60s neck carve of the era.  It is loaded with original Tim Shaw humbuckers and they sound amazing, as expected.

This one shows signs of many hours of loving play, but no signs of abuse at all.  Please see pics.
 
The guitar comes with its original "chainsaw" case which is in excellent condition.   All three latches work perfectly and the outer badge is still in place.  The ribbon that braces the case lid is gone, but that is the only thing that could be considered a significant defect at all.
