This Steinberger GM2S is in great playing condition.  The S-trem works great.  The action is currently set very low for fast, easy play with little effort.  The pickups were changed to Carvins at some point.  These pickups are great for overdriven and high-gain applications in particular.
 
Cosmetically, the guitar shows lots of signs of use with dulling of the finish in areas and lots of scratches with scattered small chips.  There is also one small chip in the back of the neck. The frets are still in great condition.  One of the original control knobs was missing when it came to us, so I replaced it with one as visually similar as possible that I had available.
 
RWB Precision is also selling drop in TransTrem bridges that are drop in replacements for Steinberger S-Trem and T-Trem bridges that would allow simple conversion to make this guitar a TransTrem.
