This Joe Pass Emperor II was made by Samick in 1992. These are considered by many to be among the best of this model.

This one has all of the setup work needed to make it a great player. I feel confident in saying you will not find a better playing example It would make a superb entry level electric archtop for someone looking to break into the archtop world or as a gigging guitar for an advanced player that prefers a less expensive instrument for playing out.

The neck has a ‘60s, D shaped profile. The frets show very little wear and have many dressings left in them. There are no divots. All notes ring out evenly with no buzzing.

The electronics all work perfectly and are quiet. This guitar has fantastic tone and can easily compete with far more expensive guitars.

The original pickguard is included, but the mounting screws are not present.

The original hardshell case is included.
