This 1993 Gibson Les Paul Standard is a1956 Reissue that was made just prior to the official launch of the Custom Shop. The body is made of a single slab of mahogany and is in 100% original condition, loaded with white covered soapbar P90 pickups. Only 200 of these were ever made, and we've only ever seen one other for sale (there is a Trogly video documenting that one, although is doesn't have the engraved truss rod cover indicating its number in the run).

It is setup beautifully and has only light fret wear. The truss rod has room for adjustment in either direction, and was just adjusted during a check of the set up. The guitar plays beautifully with low, fast action. The neck carve is C-shaped and feels in between typical '50s and '60s carves, very similar to what I have felt in many early '50s Gibson necks.

The finish is in excellent condition with only light surface scratches. There is one very small dent in the back of the neck on the treble side and light "fret sprout" cracking is seen in the binding at many fret ends. All in all it's in beautiful condition.

Weight - 9.5 pounds
Nut width - 1.695 inches

The guitar comes with the original hard shell case with the intact and still attached satin shroud.
