While this is clearly intended as a collector's guitar, it was made to be a great playing classic L-5 CES, capable of the great classic tones of jazz greats like Wes Montgomery with the added versatility of a bridge pickup.  This one comes with all of the original accessories.  The presentation ribbon is still on the guitar.  All of the diamonds are in place still on the headstock "i" dot, the control knobs, and on the tailpiece "1".  The commemorative gold ring with diamond is in mint condition and is included in its original jewelry box.  The signed Certificate of Authenticity is included, as is the mint condition original leather covered case, and the special zippered nylon case cover.
 
The guitar is in excellent playable condition, showing only very light signs of playwear which include some light scratches on the pickguard and very fine hairline scratches on the back, all of which could easily be buffed out.  There is a very small ding to the finish on the top, as show in the photos.
