In excellent, all original condition except for Schaller strap locks and possibly swapped capacitors (I'm not 100% sure about what they put in these during the very early years of the Custom Shop). The guitar has very little wear and some light finish checking. There are some very small dents in the back of the neck as pictured. 
 
This 40th Anniversary 1954 Reissue Les Paul Custom is set up and ready to play with low, fast action over the this '54 neck.  These of course have the early classic combination of a P90 in the bridge and an Alnico 5 "staple" pickup in the neck position, a combo that we just love here at That Rhythm Man.
