This 1996 Benedetto La Venezia was custom made for Ed Benson of Just Jazz Guitar during the time Bob was building in his home workshop in Pennsylvania.  It features a natural finish (the La Venezia normally only comes with violinburst as standard) and a Cremona style headstock.  The classic Benedetto floral inlays can be seen throughout the guitar in various spots as pictured.  The La Venezia is described by Benedetto guitars as, "La Venezia represents the pinnacle of pure acoustic archtop design, materials and craftsmanship—and is a culmination and celebration of Robert Benedetto’s experience as both a guitar and violin maker. The use of all perfectly fitted woods with no binding is stunning, and as expected, the guitar is made with only the finest woods, from the European spruce top to the gorgeous flamed maple.  The guitar shows in near mint condition with only a few very light scratches on the back and a couple of minute dents in the edges, as shown.
 
The guitar plays beautifully up and down the C-shaped neck with level frets that are in great condition with almost no detectable wear.  The bridge has room to adjust up or down as the player prefers.  The acoustic tone is lush and warm with the even sound and singing sustain one expects from a Benedetto.  As an electric with a floating Benedetto pickup it also delivers, giving the player great versatility for a wide variety of playing situations.
