This is a beautiful 1959 reissue Gibson Custom Shop (Nashville) ES-335. The neck is wonderfully straight and the action is low and fast. It comes in a gorgeous sunburst finish that has a classic tobacco burst look.
The guitar is in all original condition, loaded with the early examples of the Gibson 57 Classic humbuckers which sound awesome. The neck has a full, mostly C-shaped carve, but with a slight flattening of the back of the neck and slightly pronouced shoulders, giving a somewhat D-shaped feel. The frets show mild wear with lots and lots of life left. The guitar is simply a joy to play. The finish is in great condition with only light surface scratches and a very small dent in the top (pictured). There is no buckle rash. The back of the neck has one finish chip in the area of the 1st-2nd fret (also pictured).
