This Manzer JazzCAT is another addition to the TRM Reserve Collection which we are excited to present to our clientele.  The JazzCAT draws heavily from Manzer's apprenticeship with Jimmy D'Aquisto, influenced in many ways by his Centura. This guitar easily lives up to Linda Manzer's reputation as one of the great archtop builders.  It has a depth and richness of tonal quality rarely heard in an acoustic guitar while still maintaining superior note definition and separation.  It is remarkably well-balanced through all registers and displays the bell-like highs that Ted Ludwig has described in his Manzer. This is a guitar that is guaranteed to impress in every way.

The guitar plays fabulously and shows very little detectable fretwear.  All notes ring out clearly and blend beautifully when chording.  The German spruce and European curly maple body, molded and carved expertly, has yielded a highly resonant instrument that truly deserves to be called a "lap piano" as an acoustic guitar.  The electronics feature the custom designed twelve pole "JazzCAT" Kent Armstrong floating pickup which has great balance and is capable of classic PAF tones.

There are light signs of playwear and some areas of lacquer checking.  Otherwise, the guitar is in remarkable condition after over 25 years.

The original Calton hardshell case is included.  All hinges and latches function perfectly.
