From the highly regarded run of Vestax line of D’Angelico Licensed guitars produced in the 1990s and 2000s comes this 1999 NYL-2. 

This one is in a rare, gorgeous transparent black finish and the solid maple back is made of exceptional AAA flamed maple. The top is solid spruce. 

The neck is a medium C shape and is perfectly straight with clear ringing notes on all strings at all frets. The bridge has room to be adjusted either up or down, as desired. 

I can’t find any flaws in this superb playing archtop other than a few hairline scratches. 

The original hard shell case is included. The case is in fantastic condition, except for a small torn away are of tolex at the area of the head on the top, as pictured.
