This is a well played, "natural relic" Gibson Les Paul Custom in the classic ebony finish. It comes with a fresh setup with GHS Boomers 10-46 and plays beautifully with low, fast action. The frets show some wear, but still have lots of life left in them. The guitar is unusually light for a Les Paul Custom of the more modern era at just 9.1 pounds. The original pickups have been replaced with the ever popular Seymour Duncan JB/59 set, offering the classic mix of high output, scooped bridge and balanced, vintage PAF neck tones.
The finish shows many dings and scratches with areas of dulled finish. Much of the finish is worn off of the neck. The outline of some prior stickers can be seen on the back. The hardware appears all original with the exception of Schaller strap locks replacing the original strap buttons, and possibly the volume and tone control knobs.
