This 1958 Reissue Les Paul Standard has an amazing flame top with a lemon burst finish. This one is so good that we hung on to it for a while as we were considering using it for a pickup shootout involving a number of pickups including '59 and '63 PAFs. We have a '52 to '59 conversion Les Paul on the way though, and that one which is loaded with Throbaks is going to be the one for that demo. We will finish up by loading the '59 zebra PAFs in that one. Keep an eye out for it.
This one is an amazing player with the typical fat 1958 neck carve. The action is low and fast with all notes ringing out clearly. It came loaded with a Burstbucker set and the wiring is untouched. This guitar sounds as good as it looks with that killer flame. The frets still have lots of life left in them, despite the fact that it is clear from the natural play wear that this was clearly someone's number one.
The finish shows some light checking, and honest playwear. The pics should give you a good idea of the general finish condition.

The original Gibson Custom Art & Historic hard shell case is included. All of the latches and hinges work perfectly, but about 5 inches of the covering has come loose in one spot on the top.
