This Gibson Super 400 is in near mint condition. It is a full size, full thickness custom order, one of a kind guitar. Other than the deeper body the esthetic appearance is like the highly sought after thinline Super 4000. The one other obvious cosmetic difference is that the tailpiece for this guitar has much more detailed, ornate engraving than the 4000.

This guitar has X bracing, like an early Super 400. This gives the guitar a gorgeous, full, round acoustic tone. Make no mistake, this is a true acoustic guitar. At the same time, the floating full size pickup lets this guitar sing when plugged in through the endpin jack.The guitar also plays like a dream. The action can be set very low and also has room for adjustment. There are no issues with buzzing.The original hard shell case and certificate of authenticity are included. The original truss rod cover is an engraved gold one which is also included
