This 2005 Gibson Explorer has just been freshly set up with a set of GHS Boomers 10-46. The action is low and fast with all notes ringing clearly. It has the usual C-shaped neck with slim taper carve. It plays beautifully. The bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan Nazgul for high gain heaven. The original Gibson 496R is still loaded in the neck position.
The guitar has been well played as evidenced by the finish clouding scratches and scattered finish dings. It's a road warrior for sure. The frets still have lots of life left in them.
