This guitar by Brian Cohen is his Hauser model which is based on the Hauser I (I believe the  Augustine Estate owned 1940) that was played by Julian Bream. This example features a fine-grained Alpine "Moon" spruce top with abundant bear claw figuring, back and sides of Brazilian rosewood, an ebony fingerboard, and I believe a Spanish cedar neck, although it may be another member of the mahogany family.
 
The guitar plays beautifully with action at 12th fret of 3 mm on the bass side and 2.5 mm on the treble side. The tone of the guitar is beautiful and full with great balance.
 
The French polish finish shows scratches and there are some scattered very light dents in the top from play wear which are hard to capture in photos.  The finish being a French polish can easily be repaired should that be desired. The back braces show signs of being reglued, but the top braces appear untouched and intact.
