This Inspired by 1955 Les Paul Custom is sold as a new factory second. I have inspected this guitar very thoroughly, and the only defect I've been able to find is a very small (less than 1 mm) dent in the finish on the top near the tailpiece. I honestly would be surprised if anyone noticed it without looking hard for it. Everything else looks perfect. I love the real ebony fretboard on this guitar. You don't even get that on many Gibson guitars anymore.
The playability is spot on. The body is very resonant, and all notes ring out clearly with low action. The USA made Gibson P90 pickups are a perfect compliment and are capable of both the ringing clean tones and the aggressive overdriven tones that P90s are known for. They have great clarity as well.
