It's probably apparent that we love to have the opportunity to offer Gibson Custom Shop guitars.  This one is no exception.  This R9 Les Paul is in near mint conditon with essentially only a small amount of corrosion on the neck pickup cover.  It also has a small spot on the back of the neck where they missed staining with the aniline dye.  It has a beautiful, widely flamed top, and a burst with a very well done fade.  
 
This one comes from the period when Custombuckers became standard in the R9 and they sound amazing in this guitar.  Custombuckers are my all time favorite currently made Gibson humbucker, and they are generally reserved only for reissues and custom order guitars.  Gibson does not sell them individually.  The setup is spot on and the guitar plays with ease.  The action is low and fast with no buzzing.  
 
The guitar comes with the original hard shell case which is in excellent conditon, the certificate of authenticity, and the original packing checklist.
