This Eric Johnson Virginia Stratocaster is in all original condition with original case and all original accessories. 
 
It has the same sassafras body as all Virginias, but what makes this one special is that the two piece body is quartersawn like the custom shop model made for Eric.  This feature is extremely hard to find in the standard run, most of which are flat sawn or only have one quartersawn piece.  Eric even makes note of the quartersawn wood in this video: https://youtu.be/YRrDrx4gwwg
 
The body wood is why we have this one priced the same as a new one even though it is used and shows a few dings to the body.  This is still far below the $9000 price of the custom shop model, but while you may not get the flamed neck of the custom shop, the quartersawn sassafras body is arguably the most important feature in recreating Eric's original.
