This Les Paul Custom is an excellent example of what Gibson Custom and the Murphy Lab are capable of.  Made with a period correct "pancake" mahogany body and a lightly aged Classic White finish, this guitar is one of the most convincingly aged guitars I have seen to come out of Nashville.  The guitar comes loaded with CustomBuckers which are my favorite current Gibson pickups.  It plays amazingly well with low, fast action, aided by the modern jumbo frets.  The pickup response is superb with fast attack, beautiful articulation, and simply great tone.  This guitar is definitely in the top 10% of Les Pauls I've had the opportunity to play. The guitar is in essentially unplayed condition with no wear beyond the aging done in Nashville. The guitar was modified in the factory to have Grover Imperial tuner, a brass truss rod cover, and a TP-6 tailpiece.  The guitar is stamped "MOD" on the back of the headstock.
