The Brown CC Gold features a 15 1/2 inch body with rounded edges which achieves a wonderful balance of full sound and improved comfort for many players. The guitar is made of all solid woods with a carved Adirondack spruce top and carved flamed maple back and solid sides. The neck is 3-ply maple with a rosewood center strip. The headstock overlay, pickguard, bridge, and tailpiece are all rosewood. The pickup is a UK made CC Pickup replica with full paired cobalt magnets that rest underneath the top of the guitar.
The guitar is amazingly resonant for one with a large magnetic pickup mounted in the top with a nice acoustic tone. Plugged into a vintage Gibson amp the guitar can achieve those great sounds Charlie Christian and Oscar Moore known for. With a more modern amp it delivers great clarity and warmth. The playability is superb with wonderful fretwork.
The guitar is in excellent aesthetic condition with almost no noticeable signs of use.
