This Gibson Les Paul Custom comes with several factory custom modifications.  They include a factory VOS finish for a slightly aged, but not relic'd look.  The hardware is aged nickel instead of chrome, and the pickups are Gibson PAF-style Alnico 2 humbuckers with aged covers.
 
The guitar is set up beautifully and ready to play.  The action is low and fast with no fret buzz.  The neck carve is said to be slim taper, but is slighly beefier than the classic slim '60s carve.  The guitar plays effortlessly.  The Alnico 2 humbuckers are more true to the orignal PAF than most pickups and sound fantastic.  If the buyer would like, I could do an "Adam Jones" mod and replace the bridge pickups with a vintage, 1980s Seymour Duncan JB humbucker for an additonal $350.
 
The guitar is in mint condition, except for a scratch near the jack plate on the side (see picture).  The VOS finish is very nice if you like the look of older lacquer, but without the yellowing that would normally be present.  Because of the custom features, the back of the headstock is stamped "MOD".  You can see what it looks like compared to an orignal 1980 Silverburst if you check out our Instagram page.
