This SG Modern has a surface scratch on the back of the headstock as pictured, otherwise it is in perfect, mint condition.  This is essentially just a new, unplayed guitar with one very small scratch.  The SG Modern comes with a flame maple top, ebony fingerboard, 24 frets, and is loaded with Burstbucker Pro pickups.  These pickups simply sound great from clean to overdriven to high gain. 
 
This SG is setup with low, fast action.  There is no fret buzz.  The asymmetrical slim taper neck carve feel great and fast in the hand.  A slightly wider neck with a nut width of 1.7 inches is also a nice touch for the player that would like just a very slight bit more room than the standard 1.69.  It's so little that most people won't notice, but it's worth noting.  This one weight 7.4 pounds and is made of nicely resonant mahogany with a flame maple top.  The back of the headstock is stamped "DEMO". 
 
The guitar comes with the orignal hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, unopened accessory bag, Gibson leather strap, and a two year playability warranty provided by Gibson.
