The King Snake Jazz Smith is a variation of the Smith made with only a neck P90 pickup, making for a guitar focused on....jazz.  The laminated top and back plates with parallel braced top makes for a thinline archtop construction (fully hollow).  The build is lightweight with only a thin layer of genuine nitrocellulose lacquer, making for a highly resonant guitar.
 
Made in Japan to very high standards, the playability is top tier with low, fast action.  Notes ring out clearly at all frets.  The P90 pickup with alnico 2 magnet excel and clarity and warmth.  Just the thing needed to excel at jazz, either solo or in a group setting.
