TRM is proud to present our very first new guitar from Bayard Blair. This 15-inch archtop features the highest quality woods throughout with superb attention to detail. The tailpiece is custom sand cast out of silicon bronze. The fit and finish is just phenomenal.

The woods include a torrefied, carved Sitka spruce top, big-leaf maple back and side (back carved), red maple neck, cocobolo fingerboard and headstock overlay, and koa binding. The bridge is also made of cocobolo. The bronze alloy used for the tailpiece is known for strength comparable to steel and high corrosion resistance.

The guitar plays beautifully and has response and tone somewhere between a traditional archtop and a classical guitar. There is ample headroom available as well. It's simply a remarkably responsive and resonant instrument.
