This new 2026 guitar by master luthier Guillaume Rancourt was made in honor of his mentor, the esteemed, highly innovative luthier, Ken Parker who unfortunately recently lost his fight with a rare form of cancer.
This tribute model is the first ever Rancourt guitar with a Parker sound port in the side of the upper bout. It also features Rancourt's innovation of curved braces that are carved directly into the top of the guitar, resulting in a cedar top that is a single resonating membrane with nothing glued to it other than the sides of the guitar. The sides and back of this guitar are made from a limited supply of highly desirable Madagascar rosewood. The result in Rancourt's hands is a phenomenal sounding guitar with a fairly explosive, very full sound with truly remarkable note separation.
