This mint condition 2016 Rancourt 7-string Deluxe Signature archtop guitar comes to us direct from reknown luthier Guillaume Rancourt to present to our clientele. This guitar is the very first 7-string made by Rancourt.  It features all of the same superb quality work and features of the 6-string version of the Deluxe Signature, but with the additional low 7th string. Features include the Venetian cutaway, scalloped x-braces, and all select woods.  The bracing and top carve of this guitar were both heavily influenced by the mentorship of Ken Parker.  While not done in Guillaume's unique carved in brace style in this 7-string, the work here enhances the resonance and dynamic range of the guitar in a very similar way.
 
While the custom made Vintage Vibe (Pete Biltoft) pickup is mounted to the top (the only hole is a small one for the wire to pass through), the guitar features superb acoustic response that in no way seems hampered by the mounted electronics, a great testament to the fine acoustic properties of Guillaume's work.  The guitar plays beautifully and sounds absolutely wonderful whether unplugged or through an amplifier.
